I could have fixed humpty dumpty!

I have done many repairs both to existing Jewelry and Sculpture.

Is your ring the wrong size now?

Does your jade or stone need to be re-polished?

Is your sculpture damaged?

I can give you a free estimate if you can show my the piece or send some "good" pictures.

Jade Mountain

Here is a recent repair to a larger jade sculpture. This mountain sculpture, an analogy to the path of enlightenment, was unfortunately damaged during shipping. Theree were small chips and what is called "bruising" to be removed and then blended with the rest of the sculpture. It is necessary to take into account the style of the artist who created the sculpture and the best way to mimic what they would have done so that the repair work becomes invisible.

It was necessary to fix this sculpture on site, so I had to set up a temporary bench and water feed.

The results were great and the owner, very satisfied.

Foo Dog

This is a mythical beast said to have protective qualities. Usually carved in pairs, might be ast at the enterance to an imperial palace or auspicious location.

After
This is a soapstone bear, a dancing bear carved most likely in northern canada by a very skilled artist. The art work is so animated and has so much expression of life. I am very inspired from working closely with this piece. I took so many photos trying to capture htis life in the bear, but alas none come close. The repair was almost invisible, even with a magnifying glass! The owner had kept a few of the broken pieces thankfully, so this fix up job I could epoxy the pieces back from where they came from and then carve down to be flush with the still damaged. Pleasing.
